Requirements for Earning a School Letter Jacket

Through the Elkins FFA

Requirements:

          1.  Be a Junior or Senior at Elkins.

          2.  Have been an active member for 2 or more years.

          3.  Have earned, bought and worn an FFA Jacket since entering the FFA.

          4.  Wear your FFA shirt or jacket on Thursdays of each week during the school year. (2 excused days per semester allowed)
          5. Have participated in at least 4 of the 6 activities listed below and have a record of each to prove it.  (This can be kept on your point sheets.)

                        A.  Attended all FFA meetings each year or has been excused by Mr. Woods

                        b.  Attended the Area Judging Contest or 2 others each year.

                        c.  Been on a Leadership Team each year.

                        d.  Raised one or more animals each year for show.

                        e.  Sold a minimum of 15 fundraising items each year.

                        f.  Run for an FFA Office for 2 years or more.

Student must fill out Letter Jacket Application and submit
proof of required participation!!!!!!
